Between commitment and algorithm
The digital transformation does not stop at non-profit organizations. Many concepts originate from the business world and do not readily fit into the value-based, often volunteer-driven structures of non-profit organizations with limited financial resources.
The track Between Commitment and Algorithm is specifically dedicated to the concerns of non-profit organizations. The focus is on the question: How can associations and non-profit organizations use digital technologies in a self-determined, responsible, and effective manner?
The program line combines strategic perspectives with concrete practical impulses. It shows how digitalization is not an end in itself, but can strengthen participation, facilitate processes, and increase impact.
These events are specifically for non-profit organizations:
- Involving employees in change processes – from idea to implementation
- Digital participation in NPOs: introduction and practice with the ROOTS participation platform
- Technically complicated and uncertain in terms of data protection law, but unbeatably effective. Why civil society needs to be more confident about AI.
- AI and inclusion
- AI in participation processes
- Responsible AI in civil society
- Strengthening cybersecurity in associations
- Using organizational knowledge participatively and digitally with an organizational wiki – Part 1
- Using organizational knowledge in a participatory and digital way with an organizational wiki - Part 2
How do I get a ticket? The events can be attended free of charge by the following groups:
- Volunteers (e.g., in associations and initiatives)
- Full-time employees in public welfare organizations (e.g., youth welfare organizations, employees of a non-profit limited liability company)
